Both apps are free to download. Use the Android apps on a phone or tablet, or open the web apps in Chrome, Edge or any modern browser.
Janta POS
Counter billing, stock, khata, expenses, day close, GST bills and online orders for your kirana. Works offline.
You need an activation code from your shop owner or from Janta to sign in.
Janta Kirana
Order from kirana shops near you, for delivery or pickup. Search in your language, pay cash or UPI to the shop, and track your order.
On iPhone or a computer, use the web app and add it to your home screen.
Janta POS for Windows
The same POS on the counter's Windows PC or laptop, in its own window. Bills print straight to the USB or network receipt printer with no print dialog, and it can open the cash drawer. Works offline like the app.
Unzip it and double-click install.bat (no admin rights needed). If Windows says "Windows protected your PC", choose More info, then Run anyway: the package is not code-signed yet. Then connect the PC with a setup code from the shop owner.
Mobile POS
A phone-sized web app for shop staff: order queue, stock, bills and support. Same sign-in as Janta POS.
Janta Rider
The delivery app for the shop's own riders: today's deliveries, the customer's map pin, the 4-digit delivery code, cash or UPI at the door, and the cash handover at day end. Connect it with a rider code from the shop owner; it does not count toward the shop's device limit.
Install in a minute
Download the APK
Tap "Download for Android" on your phone. The file is saved to your Downloads.
Allow the install
Open the file. If Android asks, allow your browser to install apps from this source.
Install and open
Tap Install, then Open. Choose your language.
Sign in
Shoppers sign in with their mobile number. Shop staff tap "Set up this device" and enter their activation code, then choose their own PIN.
Stay up to date
The app tells you when a new version is ready. Download it the same way; your data and saved bills are kept.
Each published APK lists its version, size and SHA-256 checksum at /downloads/index.json.
In Chrome, open the web app and choose "Install app" or "Add to Home screen" to use it like an app.
